Fosso della Corva

Fed by a little spring, Fosso della Corva jumps into lower Selva Grande canyon with one of the highest cascades in Laga Mounts. It doesn't look nice, however. Its hidden beauty can be appreciated only by rappelling it. To do so you must come from above, thus discovering another nice cascade (we can call it Upper Corva cascade.

Once at the foot of Corva fall you find yourself in the middle of lower Selva Grande, and the only way out is through the canyon, down the narrows, the cascades and the pools of Selva Grande.

I remember ...

The first to explore the cascades of Laga Mounts were ice climbers. This happened also for the Corva: in the coldest days of winter the trickle of water coming from Corva spring creates a spectacular icefall, were expert climbers can show their ability. However, since this website is about canyoning, I only quote the authors of first canyoning descent, the first done in absence of snow and ice.
