canyon exploring with Michele Angileri
The Lupillo is a recessed valley that descends from the limestone hills that overlook the valley of the Volturno. It features short narrows interspersed with open parts, with waterfalls and some deep pool. Overall a route simple but not trivial.
I remember ...
Unfortunately, the stream had a flood the day before, and so the water was brown. Beyond the aesthetic factor, the fact made walking
a bit complicated, because we could not see what was under water and so it was easy falling and having a sprained ankle.
