Fosso Croce d'Aspra

Among the steep valleys that make up the upper Fosso del Salto del Cieco, the one that comes from Croce d'Aspra mount offers a nice descent with rappels, walks and downclimbs, through a wooded area today much less frequented than once, away from the usual hiking trails.

I remember ...

The abandoned farmhouses and the numerous paths that one encounters while going down the Fosso are the proof that this solitary area was inhabited and frequented until a few decades ago. The descent thus becomes a bit like a journey through time as well as through a place.
