Gola di Cottanello

Among the sweet and splendid hills of Sabina there are some deep rocky valleys, defending beautiful villages with buildings and alleys made of white stones. One of these is Cottanello. From village's belvedere you have one of the most beautiful views of Sabina: the medieval village, the woody hills, and a white canyon right down.

Cottanello's gorge is nice, funny, easy. It needs a bit of fantasy to downclimb the little dry cascades or to avoid the pools. And where fantasy is not enough it's time to pull rope out of backpack, or to resign to get your legs wet!
