I remember ...

Over the years what drives me to explore unknown streams consists less in the exploratory result and more in the desire to take a trip into the heart of Nature. The search for an exploratory result would never have pushed me along the lower part of Zolferate creek, but I had seen half of the Fosso and I wanted to travel the other half even though I was convinced that, in all likelihood, it would not have been interesting for canyoning.
Instead, to the beauty of the sceneries drawn by pink rock and green water and embellished by autumn colors, there was added the surprise of a narrow well carved in compact layers. Surprise in the surprise: there was a bolt, an unequivocal sign of a previous, undocumented descent.
