I remember ...

Before exploring the Fosso I made a careful reconnaissance. The forest was beautiful (where not cut by loggers), and there were tracks and trails that allowed me to observe the canyon from close. A couple of them had to be important, at one time, they must have been the ancient routes of communication between the valley and mountain pastures: you could tell from the knowledge of territory that those paths express (they were "intelligent" paths). Then came cars and roads, the mountains were abandoned and the ancient paths were ignored, then forgotten, mutilated, canceled. You may see no traces of them in the places where they started, because those places were upset by new houses and roads.
So, as I tried following one of those paths that had appeared in the forest like magic, I realized that only a part of it had survived: the path began and ended in the forest, leading nowhere.

What a pity!
