Fosso Faena

Fosso Campione is made of two streams that join a little upstream of Prodo village. Both have canyoning interest, although without the grandeur and continuity of Prodo Narrows.
Fosso Faena is the stream at orographic left.

I remember ...

The road to Prodo village has a bridge over Fosso Faena, just before the village. A trained, attentive eye will certainly notice that there is a narrow under the bridge. So one day, more than 20 years ago, I went to descend it, starting a little upstream the bridge. I might have been there with a friend of mine, but I don't remember who. However, I was disappointed overall: the narrows were too short and easy, though nice.

It wasn't until about twenty years later that I began to consider the upstream section as a potentially interesting canyoning route ...
