I remember ...

The spectacle of Noce valley seen from the western side of Mount Sirino, between Lagonegro and Lauria, strikes anyone who travels along the Salerno - Reggio Calabria highway. Dense, lush woods, farmgrounds, some villages perched on rocky hills sloping down towards the river, which is closed on the other side by the tall and rugged mountains of Maratea. Pure poetry.
And here too the gorges preserve the wildest and most fascinating environments, and offer the canyoner a refuge from the terrible summer heat and an all seasons adventure terrain.
