The Fosso della Fuga descends along the eastern side of Martani Mounts. It features numerous dryfalls and traits sharply engraved in the limestone formations of this part of the Apennines.

I remember ...

Only a few weeks had passed from the big snowfall of february. At the bottom of cascades there were some snowdrifts up to 4 meters high. Luckily there was no ice and we could walk and climb as usual, without additional danger due to ice slabs.
The falls followed each other, and as we descended we passed between rocks of different types. And those were the right ingredients for a nice canyoning day!
