Forra Nova

A tributary valley of Torrente delle Cento Acque (also called, in short, Centacque) reaches the main creek through an unexpected canyon, named Forra Nova (New Narrows) by the explorers.

Forra Nova is an excellent alternative to the descent of the main Centacque creek.

I remember ...

The Forra Nova was discovered by chance, while searching for an approach route to Centacque canyon. Piero Greco and partners didn't know that Centacque canyon had been already explored (by me and Andrea Pucci, in 2012). They were searching for the approach route in the wrong place, further down the right access point.
