Hidden in the wildest part of Abatemarco valley, the Ficatorta canyon is narrow and dark like few ones, enclosed by walls tall but invisible from the outside. An absolutely amazing place.

I remember ...
Though explorad about 20 years ago, Ficatorta canyon is still few known and very few frequented, because we are in Calabria and because of the difficult and tiring approach
trail.
I guess things will not change much in the next years.
